BeMyBond has received the EU crowdfunding licence

We are beyond happy to announce that the BeMyBond investment in bonds platform has received the EU crowdfunding licence and is planning its first projects. On the 16th of April, The Bank of Lithuania granted Perfect Sunday UAB, which is the owner of BeMyBond platform, the European Crowdfunding Service Provider licence under the European Union (EU) Crowdfunding Regulation.

‘Over the past years, the local market has experienced a peak in investors’ interest, driven by the long-standing economic growth of Lithuania, followed by significant rise of inflation and, consequently, rising base interest rates, resulting in double-digit returns for private debt instruments. Therefore, both the bond and crowdfunding markets experienced a Golden Age in 2023. The BeMyBond idea was conceived before this peak, but we are pleased that precisely at this moment, as investors are becoming more cautiously minded towards their investments, we can offer a suitable product for this market,’ says Indrė Dargytė, CEO of the BeMyBond platform.

What's next?

Our plan is to start the platform operations in the coming weeks. Those of you wishing to invest will be invited to become registered users, either as individuals or as legal entities. We have provided details regarding the registration process in our previous newsletters, however, we will also include a description of the registration process and answers to Frequently Asked Questions on our platform website.

Then, as soon as May, we are going to offer you the first investment projects. As promised, our newsletter subscriber community together with registered users will be the first ones to receive information about projects' details and their distribution dates.

It is expected that these projects will be financing projects of well-known and reliable Lithuanian real estate developers. At the beginning of its operation, the platform will offer on average one new investment project per month.
